Tops for dining, coffee and office tables
People order a stone table when they need a shape a shop does not stock: an oval sized to a particular room, a long boardroom slab, a round top on a single pedestal. Stone can be cut to any contour, not just a straight line.

How the top behaves in daily use
The surface is non-porous: tea, wine and oil do not soak in unless you leave them for a day. A cup leaves no ring the way it does on wood.
It is best to use a trivet for hot pans — a sharp temperature change is bad for any stone. Scratches, though, are fixable: acrylic sands back to its original look.
The base
We make the top; the base can be many things: metal legs, a wooden trestle, a central column. For a heavy stone slab the base is chosen by weight and overhang — tell us what you plan and we will advise whether the structure will hold.
